ATTENTION EMPLOYERS: Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy Information Available

New State Law Related to Sexual Harassment Prevention in the Workplace 

As of October 9, 2018, New York State implemented new laws regarding your obligation as an employer to prevent sexual harassment in your work environment.  Every employer in New York State is required to have adopted a sexual harassment prevention policy by that date, and to provide every employee with sexual harassment prevention training before October 9, 2019. If you already have a policy in place, it must meet or exceed the minimum standards listed below.
